Pierre-Yves Bessuand is a Paris based composer, pianist and sound engineer.
He discovered synthesizers before entering the Conservatoire to study piano, percussion, and more recently, orchestral conducting. In the 80's he collaborated on many projects, going from tours and classical concerts to musicals, albums and movies. He has worked variously as composer, arranger, pianist, sound engineer and music consultant.
His musical versatility and unique vision inspire him to compose ground-breaking orchestral/electronic scores, blurring musical frontiers with his exciting orchestrations and imaginative use of studio gizmos.
